Basin Lake Theatre Project presents the world premier of a new work by Prescott author, actor and musician Ered Matthew.
The Fence, directed by Julie Chavez Harrington, relates the story of the chain-link fence at Station 7 as told in the words of those who left tributes and sent condolences from around the world, as well as those who painstakingly catalogued and preserved the 9,000 items.
A company of seven actors will portray over thirty characters involved in the events of 30 June through 10 September, 2013 when the fence was finally dismantled.
The play will be performed at Prescott Center for the Arts Stage TOO for two weeks beginning July 10, 2014.
A private performance will be offered on July 15 for members of the firefighting profession and their families. This command performance will be publicized through Prescott area fire departments.
Tickets are available through the PCA Box Office: 928.445.3286, or online at: www.changeinthewind.org/the-fence.
