Keith Lane, current Chief of Police for Haltom City, Texas, has agreed to become the next Prescott Valley Police Chief. Mr. Lane graduated magna cum laude from Boston University with a Master of Science degree in Criminal Justice in 2004. He has served as Chief of Police in Haltom City, Texas since 2009 and previously served for 22 years in Keller, Texas. Group Rebuilding for Uninsured
Starting next week, the Yarnell Hill Recovery Group will begin to rebuild houses at no cost to the 11 uninsured primary homeowners who lost their homes in the Yarnell Hill Fire. Building Committee Chair Marco Cecala said work on foundations for two homes will begin next week, with construction on those homes to begin the week of Sept. 30.
