Arizona Oncology is giving back to the communities it serves by donating to food banks throughout Northern Arizona. Food banks in Prescott Valley, Cottonwood, Sedona and Flagstaff will each receive $750 to help people in need.
Staff members also are giving food baskets to 40 of its patients who could use assistance. Practices in Flagstaff, Sedona, Prescott Valley and Cottonwood delivered food to 10 patients from each location, providing them with a healthy, nutritious holiday dinner.
“We want to help those we know are having financial difficulty,” said Arizona Oncology Nurse Manager Jodie Stark. “We all agreed this was a nice way to help.”
Food banks receiving donations include the Northern Arizona Food Bank in Flagstaff, the Yavapai Food Bank in Prescott Valley, the Verde Valley Senior Center Meals on Wheels in Cottonwood, and the St. Vincent de Paul Food Bank in Sedona.
