Yavapai College Honor Society Chapter Ranks Fifth Nationally
On the heels of earning the top spot in the Arizona region last month, the Yavapai College chapter of the Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) international honor society has earned a No. 5 ranking nationally, as well as five additional national awards. YC Launches Nursing Fast-Track Certificate, Aims to Continue to Increase Healthcare Training for Local Communities
Yavapai College’s new Practical Nursing Fast Track Certificate program provides CNAs, LNAs and MMP with the theory and skills required to practice as a practical nurse in acute care, extended care and intermediate care settings. The program of study combines nursing theory lectures with clinical experiences in a variety of patient care settings, including hospitals, nursing homes and other healthcare agencies.
