Quantum Hydration Improves Sun Damaged Skin
UV radiation can cause collagen to break down at a higher rate than normal aging. It does this by penetrating the middle layer of skin (dermis) causing the abnormal build-up of elastin. When these elastins accumulate, enzymes are produced, which inadvertently break down collagen and create so-called “solar scars.” Continued exposure only speeds the process, leading to further wrinkling and sagging.
UV radiation is also one of the major creators of free radicals. Free radicals are the unstable oxygen molecules that have only one electron instead of two.
The Quantum Hydration Facial utilizes saline and negative ions to stimulate deep into the dermis to elevate collagen production, thus reversing many of the effects of sun damage.
Results from the Quantum Hydration therapy are even more dramatic when combined with the BioLift treatment, which uses low pulse electrical stimulation to targeted areas on the face and neck.
BioLift differs from lasers that vaporize skin cells, and unlike Botox, it does not paralyze muscles, but rather it builds and strengthens them.
