The Advanced Prosthetics Institute – Comprehensive Dental Rehabilitation is offering a free seminar entitled “Biofunctional Disorders: How to recognize and resolve your related medical and dental issues.” The seminar is scheduled for 6 – 7:30 p.m., Thursday, July 16, at The Club at Prescott Lakes, 311 E. Smoke Tree Lane in Prescott.
Dr. Jason Campbell will define “Biofunctional Disorders” and explain the interrelationship between common underlying medical illnesses and on-going dental issues, including:
- Teeth Grinding and Clenching
- Digestive Illnesses (GERD, Acid Reflux, etc…)
- TMJ/TMD
- Migraine Headaches
- Inflammatory/Autoimmune Illnesses (Food/drug allergies, fibromyalgia, etc.)
- Diabetes
- Cancer Treatment (Chemo, Radiation)
- Substance Abuse
Attendees will learn how to recognize related medical and dental symptoms of biofunctional disorders and how to resolve issues once and for all.
